You lead the making; the young people shape what it says. CITYarts pairs professional artists with youth on murals and mosaics that stay in the neighbourhood that made them — credited, documented, and still there in twenty years.
Artist bios
REPLACE — bios of the lead artists who have worked on CITYarts projects. Sima asked for this section on 2026-08-28. Only one artist is documented anywhere in this project: Peter Sís, MacArthur Fellow, on the Harlem Peace Wall. Seven of the eight projects on this site still have no artist credited, and CITYarts is the only place those names exist.
